Kentucky Paper Kreations

Kentucky Paper Kreations opened in February of 2006 and is owned by Robin Reed. According to Robin, "I am passionate about scrapbooking and believe in the importance of preserving memories safely. I, like many others, have a TON of pictures and I kept them in a shoebox in the package they came in. The pictures were never looked at. Then, a friend introduced me to scrapbooking and the rest is history!"

Robin offers a variety of pre-made scrapbook layouts, and most of her pages include her custom die cuts. For people who say they love to scrapbook but just don't have the time or who would like something fast and easy to get more pages completed in a short amount of time, these beautiful kits by Kentucky Paper Kreations may be just the ticket. No assembly required -- just add photos! All of the pre-made scrapbook pages are in limited quantities so you will have unique pages.

Picture It Made

Next up on our company profiles is our newest company, Picture It Made, owned by Michelle Nommensen and Jamie Retzloff. The company officially opened for business in September 2007 and offers a wonderful selection of monthly kits but before you ask, I have to tell you -- they are NOT a "kit club"...there are no membership or enrollment requirements. They simply design scrapbooking kits, card making kits, and project kits for a variety of occasions and themes, and allow you to purchase only what you want when you want or need it. They also have add-ons such as additional paper or embellishments (stamps, chipboard, ribbons, inks, etc.) for taking the kits to the next level of creativity as well as options for taking our kits to the next level of creativity.

Not only is the tag line for Picture It Made "The Art of Scrapbooking...Simplified." -- it is also their mantra. According to Michelle, "We believe that scrapbooking is a very purposeful 'hobby' and thus, the goal for our kits (and company) is to help people along in the creative process, especially those who are new to scrapbooking or just feel overwhelmed by all that is out there. What makes Picture It Made different is the fact that many kit companies out there are 'clubs' and offer 1-2 larger general kits that would be hard to adapt to certain scrapbooking themes such as baby, boys, girl's sports, etc, and also contain a large amount of similar product. We wanted to provide a kit environment similar to how people scrapbook or paper craft...want to scrapbook some of your daughter's soccer/basketball/softball pictures? We have a kit for that and an adorable one at that!

If you haven't checked out their selection yet, don't wait -- click HERE. I love their wide variety of papers and embellishments! The quality is excellent and the variety is wonderful. There is truly something for almost everyone.

Until the next time...

Memories By The Page

Next up is Memories By The Page...

"Memories by the Page was created as an outgrowth of a small scrapbook store in Virginia call My Scrapbook Store. It started in 2002. In 2005 the owner and creator decided to retire from the business. That is when we purchased it and moved it to Bonita Springs Florida.

We have been featured on many scrapbooking TV shows and in many trade magazines such as Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbooks etc. special publication called "Made In Minutes." The idea of our product is to let you get more pages scrapped and recorded and back out in record time to make more memories without the worry of having to pick page colors, cut them and then put them together. With our pages all you need is pictures, embellishments, and glue and you are complete."

Karen currently has quite a few pre-made layouts featured on our website. To view them, click HERE.

Until the next time...

Are You Board? Cara Miller Designs

From Cara:

"I love anything mini..mini teddy bears...mini dogs (I have three Shih Tzus!) ...mini cars (I even drive an older Saab 900) ... dollhouses .. you get the idea! So when I discovered mini books, I was hooked! But I struggled with some of the details. I wanted to make mini scrapbooks that looked like a book and feel sturdy. My quest to find the perfect blank book to start my creations led to my wonderful 5x5 white blank board books. I added some Mod Podge, lots of ribbon and phoof! my first board book was complete. It was a gift for my Mom and I included photos of our recent trip to the Lion King play. I journaled all those sentioments that I want to say but usually cry when I say them...you know what I am talking about! Well they were perfect on the little tags I tucked inside the pockets and hid on the backs of the photo tags. My handwriting wasn't such an issue cuz my tags were small and it was kinda secret, peeking out of the pockets. Ya, I was now board book obsessed and wanted to share them everyone. In 2006 my "baby"..the last of my five children..left for college and my cure for Empty Nest Syndrome was to take my classes on the road..and hit the road I did! I have visited so many cities in my role as a scrapbook teacher at Creating Keepsakes Conventions and Scrapbook Expo Conventions (and a few more) from New England to Arizona and Florida! Board books and Mod Podge and a Cropadile certainly raise some eyebrows at the airport security screening desks! So now, I am so excited to share my love of board books here with you from the comfort of my couch."

Cara offers several board book kits on our site so be sure to check them out today!

A Memory To Scrap

Okay, as promised, I'm going to start by featuring each of our designers individually so that you can discover more about them and where they get their inspirations.

"A Memory To Scrap" was created out of a love of scrapbooking. According to Ashley, the store owner, as her personal scrapbooking experience evolved, the purpose of the store has been cemented. "Over the last 7 years of scrapbooking, I have learned that the scrapbook pages are the medium that allows me to relive special memories as I create the pages, as well as a way to preserve my family's history for generations to come. Through the creation of kits with color photos and easy to follow instructions, all of us at A Memory To Scrap strive to remove the stress of creating the perfect page from your scrapbooking to allow you to enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling that comes only from remembering special memories!"

Ashley currently has 7 kits on our site and although each of them are wonderful, her latest addition -- Precious Gifts -- is probably my favorite.
Stop in the store and shop our wonderful kits! Don't forget -- shipping is always a flat rate of $5, no matter how many kits you buy!

Welcome!

Welcome to the brand new blog for ScrapbookPageKits.com. I'm Ronda Houston and I own the site. Although I can't take credit for all the beautiful kits on the site, I do my share. First, let me tell you a little about myself. I've been scrapbooking for about 10 years although since I started my own business about 4 years ago, I haven't done much personal scrapping. I do use my personal pictures for inspiration for a lot of the kits. Those who have seen my samples at shows may remember the pictures of my grandsons or my newest great-niece showing up. I would have to admit that those are about as close to personal scrapbooking as I've gotten recently.

My hope for this blog is to introduce you to some of the companies featured on the website. I plan to do a brief introduction of each of the companies and to post pictures of some of my favorites from the kits. Because I don't do a newsletter for this site, I plan to use this blog to let you know what's new and exciting, so be sure to check back often!
